School of Rock

Thank you for your interest in joining Connect Theatre’s production of School of Rock! Before you fill out this form to register for auditions, we wanted to tell you a bit about our process and the schedule for rehearsals and performances.  

Rehearsals for School of Rock will be held after school on Wednesdays evenings, and Sundays from 1–7 pm from January to May in Dundas at St. Paul's United Church. 

Leading up to performances, the cast will rehearse at the Zoetic Theatre in Hamilton, and perform the show the week of May 10th–18th. Please note that we do have a matinee performance on the Monday of the Victoria Day Weekend.

There is a $250 fee to participate in School of Rock. This fee includes your membership to Connect Theatre and show merchandise!  If this fee is a barrier for you to participate, please note: we have a bursary program and are able to offer financial assistance and payment plans to those who may require it.  We firmly believe that finances should never be a barrier to youth who want to perfom in community theatre!

Connect Theatre is an equal opportunity not-for-profit youth organization. Performers aged 8–28 of all identities and expressions are are invited to show us their skills.

We pride ourselves on creating a fun and inviting audition atmosphere! Parents are welcome to come into the audition room.

The Audition Process

• Prepare 1 song in the style of the show
• Submit a video file or unlisted Youtube link via the form at:  https://forms.gle/bZXfYL3SbeNjUbcB6 by Monday, December 29, 2025
• Once we receive your video, we'll send you callback information
• We will contact all auditionees regardless of outcome
• Role offers will begin in the few days following!
